Born in Russia, Vlad is a former automotive industry professional who retired after a 25-year career to explore another side of his life passion. He is a self-taught pastry chef, cook, and business leader.
He is the main creative force behind the new establishment. For Vlad, building a cafe/bistro of his own is about more than just cultivating a thriving business; it is a way to create a sense of home and community while starting a new chapter in his life. His vision is humble “old world” inspired food, pastries, and coffee provided in an inviting and belonging environment.
While new to the food service industry, Vlad is an experienced business leader in both corporate and private business settings. He also managed a family-owned business for the past 3 years. Vlad’s family meal creations, pastries, cakes, and cookies are always in demand for any family gatherings. He is inspired to bring this experience to a larger community.
